Up all Night

I woke up about 3:30 last night while I was up checking email Trent came out and said he woke to what he keeps waking to at night that sounds like the mailman. A slow driving truck. Driiives and stops, drives and stops. A truck with a loud low motor. We stepped out side on the back deck because we also saw a through the trees that a neighbor was outside on his driveway on the street behind us. We didn’t hear a sound and don’t know why he was out. We went back in I made a cup of tea and carried back to our room. I drank tea in a low lit room while we talked. When my tea was gone I laid down to go to sleep. We snuggled up and talked some more. We ended up talking until 6:50 Well, now we are tired! Do we get up and shower for church or go to sleep? We choose sleep. It was a good idea at the time, but now I really miss my time of encouragement from our Christian friends and wish we had been feed our weekly meal that fuels our soul. It makes such a difference in my week when I don’t go. In my thinking and actions I find I really rely more on my daily devotions. But of course I don’t know what our pastor can teach me.
