This is Me

My photo
I'm a displaced South/Central Texan living in Louisville Kentucky
I am a princess because I am a child of the Risen King! My background is Baptist, but believe I have a relationship not a religion. I married my childhood sweetheart and together we have raised two wonderful children and got them married off. I love everything about being a wife and mother. Now guess what? I am going to be a GRANDMA!! We are so excited for this next step in our lives.

Blue Jay

I have been hearing more and more birds singing every morning. During the day I see them out with the squirrels looking for food. I always keep a big bowl of goodies on the back deck. Not only do I love to watch all the wild like out there, but the kitty sure gets excited too.

For Blue Monday I have a pretty Blue Jay who has found a yummy crunchy peanut! You should see them get into these shells! If you don't put food out and have space to do so I recommend it. I find myself watching them and forgetting to watch what I turned the TV on for.

I am linking up with all the fun folks at Blue Monday at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/
Check out all the pretty Pretty Blue things over there!

It's always more fun to watch nature than the television. Great photo.

Hello Wanda, thanks for stopping by my blog and for the info on my Amish Boy and Girl. I thought they were Amish but the girls bonnet kinda threw me because I thought the girls wore the little white ones...Anyway, they were purchased at a Home Interior party years ago..I loved them then and still do. I enjoyed visiting your blog and will visit again ! !

I agree with Donnie. I met a friend for lunch and she showed me pics of her trip out west. Buffalo on the roadside! So cool.

I wish we had bluejays here in Arizona. They are such vibrantly colored birds. I like the idea of watching them get into a peanut!
