This is Me

My photo
I'm a displaced South/Central Texan living in Louisville Kentucky
I am a princess because I am a child of the Risen King! My background is Baptist, but believe I have a relationship not a religion. I married my childhood sweetheart and together we have raised two wonderful children and got them married off. I love everything about being a wife and mother. Now guess what? I am going to be a GRANDMA!! We are so excited for this next step in our lives.

Spring is Coming!

I think this one picture kinda sums up the whole weather for all of us. Some of us are still with snow and building a snowman! Some are already warm enough for a nice swim!

We had a lot of fun with our snowman building this year. This is me and husband. Our daughter and son and law all had fun playing in the snow on the very snowy day.

But with Spring now on it way the fun little snow men are going to melt away. Unless you have some clever little ones in your home!

How about baking up some of these cute little sugar cookies as a fun way to say goodbye to the snowman and hello to Spring. I saw these at http://www.crazydomestic.com/2010/12/melted-snowman-cookies.html and had to give them a try over the weekend. they were a hit at our little family gathering.

Happy Tuesday I am off to get a much needed therapeutic massage and physical therapy session.

How cute are those Snowman Cookies and I love the Retro pictures, too. It's hard to believe ya'll still have snow and we are planting veggie garden and hanging baskets full of petunies!

Everything is all Green at CollectInTexas Gal and there is an Irish Blessing there for you today I think you'll enjoy!

Enjoy your massage and therapy...I'd even brave the snow for a massage right now!
