This is Me

My photo
I'm a displaced South/Central Texan living in Louisville Kentucky
I am a princess because I am a child of the Risen King! My background is Baptist, but believe I have a relationship not a religion. I married my childhood sweetheart and together we have raised two wonderful children and got them married off. I love everything about being a wife and mother. Now guess what? I am going to be a GRANDMA!! We are so excited for this next step in our lives.

I have a little Crush....

Yes, I have a crush on these Little Things,  vintage travel trailers. I have just always loved them, and I have started to see more of them lately. I think they are just the right size for a get away!

Look how darling they are, can't you just imagine yourself parked next to a lake.  The grill is going and you are on the inner tube is floating in the water....

This is the back of a Tear Drop trailer a table attaches to the side, and the rest of the camper is sleeping quarters.

This is a tear drop. But look at that 2 seat motor cycle... pretty cool. The above is just a trailer I'm sure it was pulled in with a car or truck but shows how adorable small these are.

Look how awesome this one is. Now what kind of Texan would I be if I didn't say that? It is cute though huh.....

Now I love this... are we camping or "Glamping"? They even brought a table chandelier!

I just love these and think they are the greatest.... It seems they would be much easier than the bigger ones to pull down the road too.  Who know there are web pages and even conventions all about these little pieces of heaven. Make me wanna scream for Summer!

I just found your blog from reading The Garden Bell's comments. I LOVE these retro campers. I've been wanting one for a couple of years now! And never heard of Jeanne Robertson before now. HILARIOUS! I love the fact that she is funny and not trashy. I can't wait to peruse your blog some more....I got to the Beatrix Potter post cards (I have that set) Congratulations on becoming a Grandmother! Oh yeah -the reason your comment stood out, I live in Kokomo, IN and know some Metcalfs!

Love them! The "Glamping" comment cracks me up. :) And I could just imagine camping, grill going and in an intertube on the river...perfect. I want one.

Thanks for sharing and taking part of the Little Things! Hope to have you again!

I just featured you on my blog. I have listened to Jeanne Robertson twice now. And clled my cousin to check it out. Thanks for the smile today. Gotta run...I'm WAY behind now!

Wanda,
I have been talking of these canned hams for awhile now. I have been looking for one online, and it seems that most of them are in California...I live in Indiana and i cant go and pick one up, due to... NO truck.. to pull it...crap.
I am trying to get Cindy Bee talked into letting me put one on her land, but to no avail. Her husband says ...NO..
I thank you for visiting my blog. Please do come back. I tend to tick some peeps off with my rants and opinions, and my insight on my trash tV habit....
